| This has been a fantastic year for the Worshipful Commander of Edmund Taylor Royal Ark Mariner Lodge, In December he presided over the Lodges Centenary celebrations which were attended by the R W Provincial Grand Master, the R W Deputy Grand Master and over 100 other Brethren. | |

| At the Provincial Meeting on the 7th May he was Installed as the Provincial Grand Junior Warden. To top it all he and his Wife Amanda held a Commanders Dinner on Saturday 31st May at the Savoy Hotel Blackpool. The arrangements were in the very capable hands of the Lodge Scribe W Bro Howard Emmett, assisted by the Lodge Director of Ceremonies W Bro David Bell. | |

| The event was attended by many of the Lodge Members and their guest’s as well as Tony and Amanda’s Family and Friends, also present was our Deputy Provincial Grand Master Keith Beardmore and his Lady June. | |

| The Toast to the Ladies was given by W Bro Bill Ainsworth who was present with his Wife Denise. | |

| W Bro Bob McGown, who often see’s Amanda at the Blackpool FC matches where they are both season ticket holders really enjoyed the evening. |

Vera the widow of the late W Bro John Venus also attended. |
